About Us
Ellen Cuthrell
Ellen has ten years of experience as a learning specialist at an independent school and has worked as an adjunct professor at Bucks County Community College. She is a Reading (K-12) teacher and certified English (7-12) in Pennsylvania. She holds BA degrees in English and Psychology, as well as an MS in Reading and a post-graduate certificate in Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning Disabilities. Ellen is also a certified Life Coach with a specialization in ADD/HD, and an accredited Educational Therapist through AET. She specializes in decreasing anxiety in students and helping them to find their inner motivation and ability to learn and progress. She enjoys working with students with learning disabilities and students who struggle with executive functioning skills, anxiety, and depression.
Willa Cuthrell-Tuttleman
Willa graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College in May 2024, with a bachelor's degree in English and a concentration in Creative Writing. She has worked as an editorial and creative intern for the Asian American Writers' Workshop, Apogee Journal, and the Sundance Institute. Her writing has been published in Columbia Spectator and Asian American Writers' Workshop's The Margins. She has tutored K-12 and beyond with BOOST Tutors & Mentors and the Midtown Utica Community Center. She is currently in Los Angeles earning a Master's degree in Film & TV Production.
Taryn Gates
Taryn is from northeastern Pennsylvania. She moved in 2016 to pursue a degree in Biochemistry and Art History from Barnard College, Columbia University. She believes in an interdisciplinary trajectory of learning and believes anyone can be a successful student. She works with students of all ages and from all backgrounds. I love working with others and learning how to tailor their studying needs to a program that is uniquely them. In her free time outside of seeing students: Taryn loves art, astrology, astrobiology, horror films, acting classes and music production. Taryn's available to work both virtually and in person.
Alysia Butler
Alysia Butler is a seasoned executive functioning coach, having worked with middle school, high school, and college aged students for the past five years as a tutor, middle/high school student success coach, and as a college academic advisor. She received her Executive Functioning Coaching certification from EF Coaching Academy and is completing her graduate certificate in Disability Studies in Higher Education at Suffolk University. Alysia has lived experience in the field with her three neurodiverse children. Alysia lives in Massachusetts with her husband, three boys, and dog Newton.
